Lacoste X Théo Curin: a new collection for all

In 2022, Lacoste unveiled the world’s first collection named after an athlete with disabilities: The Théo Curin Collection. This season, the crocodile brand and the French swimmer return with a new eight-piece capsule aimed at everyone. This year, the collaboration goes even further: part of the profits will be donated to three athletes – in Europe, North America and Brazil.

A co-created collection

Involved throughout the design process (choice of products, materials, cuts, colors, etc.), Théo Curin is proud to present this collection in collaboration with Lacoste. Together, they convey the values that have been the Crocodile’s identity for 90 years: team spirit, surpassing oneself and solidarity.

3 personalities, 3 projects

In co-creating this new collection, Théo Curin wanted to add an extra dimension to the project. It will highlight three strong personalities with extraordinary backgrounds, and their respective goals. By purchasing one of the pieces in the collection, Lacoste customers will also be supporting the athletes chosen by the swimmer.

«With this collection, I want to promote a value that is dear to me and that I share with Lacoste: equal opportunities. Being able to support 3 athletes with incredible profiles and show them that we support them through this new collection has real meaning for me and is a real source of pride.»

The 3 athletes supported:

In Europe, Tom Lecomte, a French triathlete who is continuing his sporting career after two serious road accidents. In Brazil, skateboarder Davison Fortunato. He grew up in a favela and built a skate park where young people from disadvantaged backgrounds can now meet up and practice their discipline. Finally, in North America, part of the proceeds will be donated to Canada’s Raphaelle Tousignan, a para-athlete field hockey player. She is the first woman to join Canada’s mixed parahockey team.

Pieces for everyone

Behind the 8 pieces in the collection is a desire to dress everyone. Magnetic buttons replace traditional ones on polo shirts, and a strap makes it easy to unzip down jackets or roll up sweatshirt sleeves. T-shirts and accessories complete this unisex capsule.
