Lacoste and The Plaza celebrate the launch of their tennis inspire afternoon tea at the iconic Palm Court

On August 13th 2025, just in time for New York’s tennis season, The Plaza, a Fairmont Managed Hotel partnered with Lacoste, the iconic French fashion-sport brand, to serve up a sophisticated spin on a classic tradition with a Tennis Inspired Afternoon Tea. Paying homage to the elegance of the sport and the heritage of Lacoste, this limited-time experience invites guests to indulge in a playful yet refined celebration of tennis, tea, and tradition.

Guest including Coco Baudelle, Eny Lee Paker, Jordan Rand, Alexander Roth, Indira Scott and Christie Tyler sipped on one-of-a-kind teas, Champagnes, and Cocktails while enjoying a whimsical atmosphere including a bespoke sculpture made of original vintage racquets and woven pique fabric of the polo, both invented by René Lacoste himself.
