For the first collaboration between the Crocodile brand and the Los Angeles label, a collection of 22 tennis-inspired pieces and accessories celebrates a fantasy French Riviera. See you in stores and online on 31st May, 2023.
Traditional tennis silhouettes and a soft color palette, inspired by Lacoste’s iconic archival pieces from the 1970s and 80s. Since 2015, the Sporty & Rich brand has been building a lifestyle brand centered around beauty and wellness, imagined by Emily Oberg, its founder, entrepreneur, art director and curator. Drop after drop, the LA-based label taps a style that blends hedonistic lifestyles and active silhouettes, and all at the crossroads of wellness, sports and fashion. Followed by a vast community of followers online and IRL, today her world collides powerfully with Lacoste’s for a first limited-edition collaboration. With this collaboration, Lacoste strengthens event more its Fashion Sport positioning, one of the core foundations of the brand’s inception 90 years ago.
The true essence of active lifestyle
Halfway between vintage, re-edition and creation, Sporty & Rich revisits and reinterprets the most iconic pieces of Lacoste’s tennis heritage. The meeting of the American brand and Lacoste’s creative studio gave birth to a wardrobe stamped with an original logo reminiscent of the most exclusive private tennis clubs. Designed for the city, yet inspired by the courts, the collection mixes androgynous tones and ultra-feminine lines. Here, chic two-tone tracksuits, oversized sweatshirts and loose polos sit alongside pleated skirts, tank tops, jumpsuits and crop tops. A balance that celebrates movement, comfort and elegance.
Hello French Riviera!
«Play tennis, get lots of sleep, drink plenty of water». A true philosophy of life for Sporty & Rich, the slogan comes to life in a photo and video campaign shot by Quentin de Briey on the French Riviera. Playing deliberately with the tropes of a chic French lifestyle, the Sporty & Rich x Lacoste collection follows the daily life of an American woman holidaying in the south of France.
